SMTP Service crahes - does not start up

I am on EV 14.2 with Windows 2012 R2. Once I installed the SMTP along but used it for test purposes.

After a review I saw, that the SMTP Service (configured witj local system) does not start up, it just crahes with EVENT ID 1000 and 7034

No other service runs on TCP Port 25

What could I do? I installed the maintenance release 14.2.3, but it did not help. I am not able to deinstall and reinstall just the SMTP service (greyed out).

The isode has to do with openssl. I am not sure how to fix this, but have a look at this document. That at least shows you what to check. Be advised that Windows 2012R2 is no longer a supported OS, you might want to replace that by W2019 or W2022. (by replacing I mean, build a new server, shutdown old server, rename new server to old servername, give same ip-address, re-install EV, using 'existing configuration')
