Enterprise Vault Search inconsistent results
Hi All, We had complained from our user that Vault results were inconsistent, and we check that it is true. Explain with example: Displayname.: USER 1 Email: user1@ourdomain.com User 1 send mail to our mailbox and we archive. When searching for all mail sent by user 1 in a specific time interval, we get 2 different results If search message sent from “USER 1” we get 1 result If search message sent from “user1@ourdomain.com” we get 0 result Any ideias? Thank you
Large Number of Mailboxes Not Processed in Enterprise Vault
hi guys, i'm facing an issue with our enterprise vault environment,out of 2435 mailboxes ,around 2329 mailboxes are not being pocessed .all EV services and EV tasks are runnig normally .EV parition ia open and there re no obvious errors on the EV server .despite that ,the mailboxes are still showing as not proccessed . has anyone faced a similar issue before or can advise what should check next ? thanks in advance.
E.V Pending Items
How to cancel pending messages for the E.V server site, many users complain about this issue, that pending items of size 2 GB. I checked the policy and found that the Pending Shortcut Timeout value is already set to 0. However, the issue persists I need an SQL query to run for bulk usersError Code 0xc0040c93 while enabling certain user mailbox for archiving
While enabling certain user (not all users) for archiving , I am getting following error message. "An error occured enabling the mailbox mbxname . Error: 0xc0040c93 A possible cause could be the location of the file 'mapisvc.inf' or the configuration information it contains. Event id 3219. *EV deployment scanner comes clean on OL version/Profile/HF/Exchange/Permissions *mapisvc.inf is missing from first two locations. The 3rd location simply doesn't exist in EV server C:\Windows\SysWOW64 C:\Windows\System32 C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033 I ran fixmapi.exe and reboot EV server but it did not solved the issue. Nothing happened.
DR Windows Cluster
Hi. We have two EV 15.2 nodes in a Windows cluster. All data (storage, index, etc.) is on RDM disks. We're currently planning to implement DR. As I understand it, a stretched cluster won't work because the other data center will have different storage and different disks. Could you please advise what best practices would be appropriate for implementing DR in this case?

Hello everyone, I inherited a customer with Symantec Enterprise Evault 11 configured. I need to export data from Evault so I have to export it and then remove it, but I can't find a way to do it in bulk. Even though I enabled move and delete in the search policy, the options in the search archive don't appear. Hi, I upgrade a Lab environment from EV 15.0 to 15.1. I start to get event 4190 for the following service Admin Service, Task Controller Service and Storage Server. I follow the instruction on https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100029531 and reinstall the .net framework and then repair the EV installation. In the client side everything work fine in the server side the Provisioning tasks (Client and Exchange) have Status in error and the index tasks also. Server: Windows Server 2019 EV: 15.1 The server is in a sandbox vlan so we didn't update the servers. I am afraid of update the production server until I understand what happen. Thank you, António
