Hi, In solaris and vxvm initialized disk shows: c2t50000975A820B418d50 format Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks 0 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 1 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 2 backup wu 0 - 65532 199.68GB (65533/0/0) 418755870 3 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 4 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 5 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 6 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0 7 - wu 0 - 65532 199.68GB (65533/0/0) 418755870 I see that partition 7 uses all the space. It means that partition 7 has the public region,private region and data?lelunicu4 months agoLevel 432Views0likes4Commentsvxdcl - urgent

Hello, I'm a new guy in my organization and was tasked to migrate our current NetBackup (7.7.3) storage system from Dell DataDomain to a new one, HPE StoreOnce 5260. I've searched for relevant information on Google but haven't had any success. Would you be able to supply any knowledge base articles, or a detailed guide for this process? From what I understand, StoreOnce offers a plugin for Veritas. Should I install this plugin initially, or is it necessary for the migration and operation at all? Thanks for your assistance.986Views0likes3Commentsvxresize
hi, you can see that df -k /symora_tmp ->584288 and vxprint -g genio/-dg|grep genio05->2072576 then vxresize -b -g genio_dg genio05 512m. vxprint -g genio-dg|grep genio05->1048576 but df -k /symora_tmp->524288.i expected the value to be half of this. why this?lelunicu2 years agoLevel 4725Views0likes1Commentexpand
Hi, I need to expand a volume but on the underlying disk is no space. The created volumes are created on a single disk. What is the good practice?To create a mirror of volumes with a larger disk,then detach the small disk and create a mirror with a disk the same size as larger disk?lelunicu2 years agoLevel 4703Views0likes1Comment
