Appliance 5340 Disk Pool Limit I/O Streams per Volume recommendation

Hi,

Please your recommendation: we have two 5340 appliances (1.4TB RAM, 2 primary/expansion storage shelfs = 980TB), what is the Disk Pool Limit I/O streams recommended? we actually have 120 per volume and our SLPs are waiting for resources. Our WAN have 1Gbps bandwidth.

    The 5340 appliances we have, we don't limit the IO streams for each disk pool. But we do have 10 GB bandwidth as well. You may need to do some math based on number of clients, backup window timeframe and I/O load your media servers will take while considering the bandwidth limit you have on your 1 GB bandwidth. Can you bond two 1 GB interfaces to give you better aggregate throughput?
