can you assign 2 IPs on Veritas Flax appliance

Hi There,

       I have a customer who is asking if we can configure the Flex appliance with 2 different IPs, one to be used for the backup communication between the clients and the appliance (within the same site) and another IP with a different subnet to be used for replication (off-site) communication between the Main and the DR appliances, is this possible, I know that we can do grouping on the old appliances with different IPs and VLAN but with the Flex and moving to container based I couldn't find anything related to the subject.

    Yes its possible. You can still make use of VLAN Tagging and assign those VLAN's to containers. Flex Appliance OS allows you create multiple VLAN tagging and its seamless management via Flex Management Console.
