You need to use "Duplicate" option under "Catalog" section. But depending on the number of images, it would be cumbersome process and it would be more feasible to go with scripted approach.
First, identify the images in the pool refering to the old appliance (bpverify command helps here). Then use bpduplicate command to create the image copies on the STU pointing to the pool on the new appliance.

if by appliance you mean Netbackup appliance, I believe it has an option for migration.I never used it myself but I guess that could be useful as well.

Hi,
If you are talking about "Remote Replication", I think it's only used to replicate the "Primary Server" from one Appliance to another and not the backedup data. Not sure about.

I believe the one you are talking about is on Veritas flex which creates a replica of master instances.
