Next release of NBU ITA?

Greetings,
I've noticed that it's pretty quiet here these days. I see that the quarterly Oracle update is out there and I was wondering when the next patch for NBUITA is going to be released? 11.5.06 maybe?
I am learning about SQL Queries and how to speak more SQL, but I'm retiring next year after 40+ years in I.T. Support / Systems Engineering work to include 35 years of "oncall" duty.

I've been trying to stir interest in NBU ITA and to find ways to make it better for all us "end-users" but I'm slowly learning that there's not a lot of people interested in it. Maybe the Cohesity piece of this will give a better reporting tool? I don't know really, but I can hope can't I?  :-)

Best of weeks to you all..!

  • DPeaco there are ITA releases every month.  11.4.11 and 11.5.05 was just released.  11.6 is on the verge of being released (end of March/April time-frame) and 11.6.01/11.5.07 should be released in May.

There are a lot of customers/people interested in ITA, but I agree this forum is not too active.  I hope there is a way this can improve.

Keep on learning SQL and before you know it, you will be retired.

    Cheers..

      Hey Robert_Geller

There is a way to get more people on here and spur forum growth. The way to do that is provide good content, offer suggestions and provide solutions to people's problems with getting information OUT of NBUITA.

I have over 20 years experience with online forums and their growth...to include one of the largest online woodworking forums on the net today - Sawmill Creek dot org.

If you provide content, answers to problems, sql code that can be copied and pasted to help those like me get info OUT of NBUITA so our bosses and upper-management will be happy with the info we are getting out of the tool? Then you will have an active forum. Word of mouth is the #1 way to get people to "advertise" for you. All that typically costs is your time, knowledge and code examples and you have people coming and visiting on a more frequent basis.

I would love to see this grow...and even though I'm retiring after 42 years of I.T. Engineering and Data Protection / Disaster Recovery? I will still be a part of this group.
