  • Hi,

HAve you removed the RAWS agent from that server and reinstalled it?

    Thanks!

  • Do you have AV on the remote server? If yes, exclude the RAWS folder from the AV scan and than retry the backup.

  • The files linkinfo.dll is under c:\windows\system32,but I can't see it.I have to open the hidden attributes, but still don't see it.I try to create a new linkinfo. DLL files, error, prompt information as a file already exists.

  • ...are you using Advanced Open File Option in your job? If not, turn it on and then try again.

otherwise consider excluding this file from the backup. Alternatively you can accept the job ends with a warning.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Paullinl,

The backup job is failing during System state backup of the remote server. We need to review debug log further to find out the offending file path.

The SGMON log attached is mismatched.

    Kindly perform the following :

Access BE Ribbon button > Technical Support > Collect Debug output to open SGMON Tool.

On the left pane, choose Job Engine, RAWS, Agent Browser & Capture to File enabled.

After the backup failure, Click on Open log to access the log file.

Stop the SGMON activity and close the window.

The log file will be under \Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs and will typically have the server name as a prefix.

Share the matching logs to review.

    Regards,

    Subodh

  • The following document may be of some help:

This is a fairly common issue we see and this is the process to resolve the invalid path in the registry and get successful backups.
