0x80004005 - Unspecified error

I am using backup exec 2012 but some times Backup job failed with error '0x80004005 - Unspecified error'.  Backup job fails with 0 bytes count.

 

Let me know the cause for this backup job failure.

Backup Exec version - Backup exec 2012

Operating System - Windows 2008

    Hi If it is failing some time then ensure at that time if device on which backup is running is online and backup exec is communicating with it. Apart from that I see one link which shows same issue as you have see if that helps. http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH53004 Thanks
