Hi. I need help for this Error 0xe00084af in backup exec 15 and event id 8224 VSS shutting down in event viewer.
I did study this post (https://vox.veritas.com/t5/Backup-Exec/0xe00084af-error-and-vss-problems/m-p/624680#M303016) but I failed to find any restore folder or link.
My full backup works fine but the incremental backup will hit this error everytime.
This error "0xe00084af" is very generic error code which could cause due to many different reasons, I would suggest follow this technoe and check if that helps to fix your issue :-

Or if issue persist than we require further digging on the issue, either you can open a case with Veritas Support or let us know more details about the issue. i.e : What exact resource we are backing up ? Environemt details ? or may be later we need look at matching set of logs...
