6235 doesn't support Exchange 2007 and 7170 doesn't support DFS backups...

Question

We have Exchange 2007 and DFS, there is no BackupExec 11D rev. that supports both.Does anyone know when will Symantec release a BackupExec version that would work with both?&nbsp;Thanks...&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Are you using DFS WITH Exchange, or just seperately and you want to support both with Backup Exec?&nbsp;Have you made selections for DFS under System State?&nbsp; It used to be a normal selection but in the latest version, DFS is found under System State in the backup selections.

Exchange 07 and DFS Servers are 2 different boxes. Yes DFS selection is under System State.

In short we had to go back to 6235 b/c of the DFS problem Backupexec has.

Now we can't backup Exchange 07 or Sharepoint 07 servers.

Note that Sharepoint 2007 isn't supported under 7170 either..
