Backing up a MAC

Hi
We have a Windows SBS server running back-up exec 12.5, we want to back up a mac computer (not a mac server), do either desktop and laptop agent or the MAC agent allow you to back-up Macs?

    To backup any mac machine either server or desktop you need the License for the same ... So you would need to install the MAc agent on the desktop or laptop which you want to backup ...

    The desktop and laptop option is only meant for Windows. You can backup Windows workstation for free by installing remote agent without any license but vista and windows 7 would need a remote agent license

    Thank you for your help, I just wasn't sure if the mac agent only backed-up a mac server and not a mac desktop.
