Backing up db and flat files simultaneously.

Hello,

I have a 2-tier environment that consists of the following:

1 application server (flat files)

1 database server (database)

Can i back up these two servers simultaneously using backup exec, if so, how would I go about doing this?

    Have you install an Agent for Applications and Databases licence for your database server?

    If you have then just select both servers in your backup job, the files on the file server and the databases on the database should be selected for backup.

      Thank you for responding.  Will the two servers back up at the same time?

        Serially because they are in the same job.
