Backing up VMware Workstation 10 with Backup Exec 2014
What is the procedure to backup VMware workstation using backup Exec? Do i still need to purchase the Hyper V and Vmware Agent for BE? I added the host on BE but I am not able to browse the VMs within it.
Any sugegstion?
- VMware Workstation 10 is not supported by BE 2014 The only way to backup the VM's is to back then up as physical machines. You would need to get AWS/RALUS livened for each VM

VMware Workstation is not supported at all...you will need to purchase the necessary Remote Agents and any relevant application agents (which includes the RAWS agent!) for your VMs and back them up as physical machines.
No way you have the same functionality as with VMware ESX.
