Backing up Windows 98/XP Workstations
Hello,
I was just wondering what other people do in regards to backing up data from Windows 98/Windows XP workstations. Basically the senerio is there are about 5 computer which operate machines (plasma cutters/ bending machines, cutting machiens) etc on a shop floor. What I want to do is backup certain folders from these machines. I know there is the DOL agent which can be installed, but I don't think thats what im after as it only does My Documents etc (correct me if i'm wrong). Has anyone else had experience with this senario. Currently I backup the data via shared folders but it seems a very messy approach and keeps on failing.
Any Ideas/Comments would be appreciated.
Thanks
Peter

- Hello,
http://support.veritas.com/docs/245171
No license is required to protect Windows Workstation computer operating systems prior to Windows Vista with the Remote Agent for Windows Servers (RAWS)
Applied for BE11 as well
Hope this helps.....
