Backup Exec 2010 R3 connexion CIFS

Hi,

Your problem is that the Dell DR4000 only shows up on the BE 2012 Hardware Compatibility List...not the BE 2010 HCL.

As such you're unsupported, and to use it would need to investigate an upgrade to BE 2012.

But i have using a DELL documentation for configuring the DR4000 and Backup Exec 2010 R3.

OK, that's great then! So...have you followed the guide? If so, what account are you trying to connect to the device with? Your Backup Exec service account or the local admin account on the device?

Have you tried adding in the user account of the DR4000 into BE itself under the Network and Security drop-down menu?

Yes, i have followed the guide and using administrator account of domain.

I have adding the user account of the DR4000 in the Network and Security. I have testing :

"DR4000\DRUSER_ACCOUNT" and "DRUSER_ACCOUNT"

In the Windows events I have a Backup Exec 33808 error .
