Backup EXEC 2012

I have downloaded the 3 files from FileConnect, into the same directory. When I run the .cmd file to create the ISO file, it creates a file that ends in .zip, when I try to extract it, I get an error about it being an invalid file. If I rename it to ,ISO, it still does not work. Any suggestions?

    @mannyv_vt - Don't download the installation DVD in parts.  Go to www.backupexec.com and click on BE 2012 under the trial section.  You will see the installation DVD as a whole.  If you run this installation DVD, it will first extract itself before trying to do the installation.  If there is an error, re-try the download.

    Its possible that one of Part1/Part2 may be corrupted, try redownloading...

    Hi Bhavik , Thanks for the snap that helps ,I had reffered the same using the link I have given download either 32 bit version or 64 bit version no need to download files in 2 parts. Hope that helps. Thanks

    The link given by Backup_Exec is valid one. 

     

    Only issue is, if at all it needs to be burnt to DVD, then .iso has to created using another application.

    I tried deleting them and downloading all of the files again. I ran the .cmd job again, and it created a compressed .zip file. When I clicked on it, I got a message that said "Windows cannot open the file" then it had the full path and file name and said it was invalid. I tried renaming it to a .iso file and when I went to burn the image to dvd, I got a message that said the selected disk image file is invalid. Now what?

    Can you try downloading one of the following from that list:



    Backup Exec 2012 SP1
    (All Editions - 32-bit only)    		 1.32 GB
     
    DOWNLOAD NOW
     
    Backup Exec 2012 SP1
    (All Editions 64-bit only)    		 1.4 GB
     
    DOWNLOAD NOW

    and see if that works for you.

    Hi When you download the file from the above link I have shared ,you can just use winrar software to extract it too so copy the downloaded file first on media server and using winrar on media server extract it and install the software. Thanks

    Ok, progress. I have created the dvd and will install it. What do I do about this being a 60 day trial software? Will I be able to use my key to unlock it?
