  • It could be a hardware fault. Run the tape manufacturer's diagnostic utility against the tape library/drive. Make sure you select the write test and that you have stopped all the BE services beforehand. BTW, do you know it is rude to use all capital letters on your post? It means that you are shouting
  • The IBM LCD is indicating that your cleaning media is expired (i.e. used up).  So you need a new cleaning tape. 

    The IBM user guide for your library will give more details about the LED indicators.  You can probably also get more detail from the libraries web interface.

  • to this problem as I get the tareras Paused Server and does not execute the tasks and remains so.

  • right-click on the BE server in the "backup & restore" tab and uncheck "hold job queue"
