Backup Exec 9.1 support for LTO 4

Hi,

My environment is on Windows 2003 server with Backup Exec 9.1 - Which is presently using LTO 2.

Can I replace the present LTO 2 drive with LTO 4.

    Even BE 10D does not support LTO4, so there is no support for LTO4 in BE 9.1

    Hi Prem,

    pkh is correct. What you would need to do is either do a fresh installation of Backup Exec 12.5 which is the latest and greatest and DOES support LTO-4, or do a multi-step upgrade if you want to retain your settings.
