backup exec 9 restore problem

 I just had a major crash of my Server 2003 using backup exec 9.  I had to reinstall Server 2003 and also reinstalled backup exec 9 since the servers 2 mirrored drives were dead.  I have good backups but the problem I'm having is that backup exec doesn't know anything about them.  Since everything has been newly installed, how do I tell backup exec to do a complete restore from previous backups that it knows nothing about.  Please help!

     You need to catalog the tapes

    What you need to do is referred to as a local disaster recovery. Have a look at http://www.backupexecfaq.com/articles/using/performing-a-local-disaster-recovery.html
