Backup Exec and Postgresql

How can I back up a Postgresql database on CentOS using Backup Exec?

I believe postgresql had a backup utility called pg_dump. Use it to dump out the database into a flat file and then back this file up by BE.
Refer to the SCL of Backup Exec, Postgresql is not listed so it is not supported.
