backup Exec jobs does not register as successful until tape is removed from drive

I am having a weird thing happen on my backup job. The job runs successfully but the status does not change to complete untill I remove the tape from the tape drive. I have the checkbox selected to eject media after job completes. Ocassionally the tape does not eject either and I do a manual eject and remove the tape and the job will then change its status to successful.
has anyone else encoutered this?

    Hello,

    We need to Automate this process.
    1  : Go to tools-->Alert Catagories
    2  : Enable automatic response to Alerts  such as "Media Remove" and set it to 1 Minute.

    Sorry I didn't respond faster but I was busy. I have changed the setting and will let you know. Thanks for your help. I figured it was a setting just didn't know where.
