I have Facing Issues in my Backup Exec15. My Issues is I can’t run the services manually .
I also have attachmnet screenshot. If I start manually the services still same.
Do you have any user guide on how to fix this issues .Thanks.
Does the BKUPEXEC exec SQL instance start as Device and Media requires that service to be running
Failing that you will probably need to be looking at debugs to understand the problem and that is likely to need a formal support case.
You can debug device and media by either using SGMON.EXE and making sure device and media logging is enabled OR by opening a command prompt and attempting to run pvlsvr.exe -c (or pvlsvr,exe -c >logfile.txt to capture it instead of display it.
Note: If you log a formal support case we will probably need the debug logs, some configuration logs/reports (BEDIAG, VQA,VXGATHER etc) along with a copy Backup Exec database (BEDB.BAK) to fully piece together what is happening.
