backup job completed with exceptions

Hi Can somebody asist with resolving these outstanding issues?

Thanks!

Backup- SERVER.domain.local

V-79-40960-37914 - Database bemp is configured to maintain transaction logs.  Transaction log backups are not being performed.  This will result in the log growing to fill all available disk space.  Regular log backups should be scheduled or the database should be changed to the simple recovery mode.

Create a New Policy as mentioned below:
    *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
    Under Attributes:

    Policy Type: MS-SQL-Server

    Under Schedules:

    New schedule
                     Type of Backup: Automatic Backup
Schedule Type: Frequency (as needed) And assign a Schedule for that Policy.
    New schedule
                     Type of Backup: Application Backup
Schedule Type: Select 7 days with 0 - 24 hrs.

    Under Backup Selection:

Give the path of the .bch file that you have created in the Client Server in the Selection List.
    Eg. "C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\dbext\MSSql\TESTING-SQL1_daily_tlog.bch"

Creating a .bch file in the Client Server:
    *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
    1. Login into Client Server.
    2. Navigate to INSTALL PATH\Veritas\NetBackup\DbExt\MsSql
    3. Create a .bch file as <POLICY NAME>.bch
    4. Provide the details mentioned in the attached notepad in .bch file.
  • Hi Armanath,

Please check the date of the last post when replying to queries...in this case it was over 2 months ago and the query is pretty much dead.

    Thanks!

  • .... also, your solution is for NBU.  This is a BE problem and this is the BE forum.
