Backup Jobs missed with E000E020 error codes

Backup jobs misses intermittently with E000E020 errors.I tried editing/extending time window to rectify this but it still fails sometime.

Since I am recently started working on BE,would some one please help me with below questions?

1.Is this because multiple jobs are configured with same Policy & job Template?

2.Can we use seperate job template for each job?

3.We have two different Media Sets, for Full  & Differential which are shared with backup jobs.

    1.Is this because multiple jobs are configured with same Policy & job Template?

    This is probably the main cause of your problem.  All you jobs would start at the same time and wait for available resources, thus missing their time window.

     

    2.Can we use seperate job template for each job?

    Yes, but when you apply a selection list to the policy, all the jobs will use the same selection list.

     

    3.We have two different Media Sets, for Full  & Differential which are shared with backup jobs.

    This should not be a problem unless you are writing to a B2D folder and the concurrent no. of jobs are set to 1.
