Backup of Oracle DB fail

Hi.

I have BE 2012 on windows server, and RALUS installed on oracle linux 5 with Oracle 11g2.

When i start oracle backup job, it's run about 2 minutes and successfully complete.

But in the job log section "rman" i see some errors.

Any Ideas?

Recovery Manager complete.

  • Thanks to everyone. The problem was in credentials.

Re-entry users and passwords in media server solved the issue.

  • Unfortunately job logs in russian.

I already attach agent log in first message "beremote_log.txt" from "beremote --log-console" command.

  • These may help you, since they are all related to the same ORA codes which I see in the RMAN output you pasted above:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH85031 - Backup of Oracle fails with "ora-19506: failed to create sequential file" in the Database script output in the job log.

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH176686 - When repeating incremental or differential backups using Oracle Agent, the job intermittently fails with a communications failure has occurred

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH51408 - Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) backups fail intermittently with error: ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH77064 - Oracle backups fail if the user expanding the Oracle server in the selection list do not have the correct credentials

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH61808 - Backup Exec 11d and 12.0 for Windows Servers: Software compressed or encrypted backups of Oracle databases larger than 4 gigs cannot be restored.

  • Please refer this below technote. It Could help you.

  • I think connection between server and client fine, because i had successfully backup about 1Tb data from file system on this server. There now any enabled firewalls in network and operating systems. Server with RALUS and media server in one broadcast domain.

  • Please try to rerun the job and this time with VXBSA level set to 8. You can set this in /etc/VRTSRalus/ralus.cfg. If issue is reproduced, please post vxbsa log that gets generated at /var/VRTSRalus/ folder.

    Thanks.
