backup saveset on cancelling
Hi.
I apologies for this simple question, but i want to make it clear.
I am running transactional log backup for 10 database (one job). through sql logs i found 6 database got backed up successfully. if i cancel the job before completing the remaining database, whether the 6 database log backup that was completed can be restored.
note: in save set i coud see the recent time when log database backedup fro all 6 database.
Since you cancel the job, you can not be sure which of the logs are only partially backed up. It is recommended that you do not rely on the backup set of a cancelled job. You should rerun your job and use that backup set.
