BackupExec 2014 - Reduce Time in Cancel Job option

Hi,

How do I reduce the that to Cancel a Job if it still running?

The BE2014 has the minimum of 241 hours to Cancel the Job if it is still running. I have lots of jobs and if one ou two get more time to be done, it will not Cancel, because its set to Cancel only after 241 hours.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Pedro

  • In the schedule tab of the backup job reduce the time specified for "cancel the job if it is still running"

Refer to the screenshot from the below forum thread.

  • The "cancel the job if it is still running" option can be set individually for each job and there is no minimum limit. The number that you have quoted is the default which is set to a long time so that your jobs do not get cancelled inadvertently.
  • The option pkh is referring to can be found under "schedule" when you edit your job.
