BE 12.5 Superloader 3 does not load Tapes

Hello,

Situation:

File-Server: Win 2008 R2, BE 12.5 Quick Start Edition

Quantum Superloader 3 LTO-3  with 2 slots

Problem:

I've installed the BE and the changeover was to see in the image is detected. I conducted an inventory and assigned to the individual bands to the respective media set. Now if I want to run a job that is canceled because no tape is loaded into the drive. However, if I inventory the tape changer in BE it pulls through for tape and push it back into the correct slots.

I hope you can help me I do not know where it jams.

     I conducted an inventory and assigned to the individual bands to the respective media set.

    If you assign a scratch/overwriteable tape to a media set other than the Scratch set, it immediately takes on all properties of that media set, including the OPP and APP.  So if you move a scratch tape into a media set the has a 7 day OPP, you will not be able to use it until the 8th day

    As mentioned above, let Backup Exec move the scratch tapes to the appropritate media set when the job runs

    I guess you are running a test backup, try running the actual job.

    Also don't assign tapes to any media set, move the media to scratch media set

    Well you dont need to assign the media to a media set . Let all the media be in sctrach media set and when the backup job kick off it would pick the tape from the scratch media and allocate it to a proper media set. When the media is overwritable it is blue colour .

    I just moved the tapes in the temporary pool.
