BE 2014 and Sharepoint 2013 SQL running always on

We are in the process of testing Backup Exec 2014 against our QA Sharepoint 2013 environment. We see multiples of the following error message:

 

A selection on device Exempt User Agents\Metadata (CluserName01P\a5f2f1ee-d9d9-4020-afea-8dd5044e69e8) was skipped because of previous errors with the job.

and the following

Error : e0000f04 - The Backup Exec server could not connect to the remote computer. Ensure that a Backup Exec agent is installed and running on the remote computer. If a Backup Exec agent is installed, ensure that it is the correct version.

It seems like both errors reference the ClusterName for the AlwaysOn Sql cluster. Both nodes have the agent pushed and configured properly. Am i missing a step somewhere?
