BE and dual processors

BEWS will not use dual processors on its own.
But if the OS is configured to use dual processors in some way for its applications, Backupexec will surely make use of it.
So basically it depends on how your OS is setup.

BackupExec itself is not multi-threaded as far as the OS is concerned, so different backup jobs will not use different processors

But if you do other things on the media server, two processors will mean that BackupExec can use one, and everything else the other, so you may see some improvement in performance.
