BE2010 Not Recognizing Old USB Drive

I'm not familier with BE at all but I'm trying to restore a server from an old backup drive. I know a system state backup was done on January 2016. I have the USB drive it was written to plugged into the server. When I look at my devices in BE2010 I don't see my January 2016 drive listed there. I see other drives like January 2017, Feburary 2017, etc but the old drive I want to restore from isn't listed. The media exists on the drive and when I look at the media on BE2010 it shows as offline. How can I get BE2010 to see the drive and the media so I can do the restore?

    Hi,

     

    BE will prune the catalogs, and only maintains them for 90 days before the oldest drops off.

    Have you run an Inventory and then Catalog job on the external HDD? And have you checked that the date range is also correct?
