Is it possible to install Backup exec on VMware workstation 6.5 OS 2003 ?
You would have problems accessing physcial devices, like tape drives, from your VM. Symantec does not recommend that you use a VM for your media server.

Yes you can..if your VM have required memory and space
(For test purpose..not production)
