anyone knows how to fix this problem? This error occured for a specific guests only

  • If you update to the latest hotfixes and have problems running your jobs, then you should open a support case with Symantec.

Your problem may be fixed by either SP1a or the latest hotfixes.  Without updating to these, then you would not know whether the problem is fixed.

  • Have you updated to SP1a and the latest hotfixes?  If not, run LiveUpdate a couple of times to do so.

  • Hi pkh, thank you for your reply.

Last time I update to SP1a and the latest hotfixes, the backup server cannot run any job, either it's backup or restore, and then I re-install without installing any update. I'm afraid the same problem will occur if I install the new update.. I've been searching this problem in symantec website but there is no solution for this..

    Thanks

  • Hi pkh, thanks again for the reply

All right, I will try to update to SP1a right away, I will create a new ticket if problem occur.

    Thanks!

  • After updating to SP1a, don't forget to run LU a couple to get the latest hotfixes.  You should run LU until it says that there is no more update.

  • You are having " Faulting module name: unknown " We cannot know what is exactely causing the crash

I advise to uninstall and reinstall the Raws agent manualy , Then Activate the debug mode and launch the job again.

I advise also to run live update in order to get the latest hotfixes .

  • Your backups are to tape drive or to disk ?

    is there some databases ?

there are special HF that fixed Beremote crashs but  Faulting module is known

i suggest to re install the remote agent maybe it's not ine the same version .

  • There has been a new hot fix released for BEremote.exe crashes Tech Article TECH199866. There are also some registry settings and an orphan update available if you still encounter issues after applying the hotfix. To get these you will need to open a support case.
  • Hi all, sorry for late reply, but this issue already resolved.

    Thanks!
