Can Remote Agents be installed on Windows XP

hi everyone

since posting my last thread we've noticed that on 3 of our XP machines we can not get a remote agent to install

it works fine on the servers. 2k and 2k3

so can you install a remote agent on a windows XP Client????
10.x and Earlier
Backup and Recovery
Backup Exec
