We have Backup Exec 11d running on windows server that currently backups up our data on tape drive. We purchased an RDX drive to replace the tape drives but cannot get Backup Exec 11d to recognize our RDX device on windows server? It does not show up under devices tab. It will show up in my computer but not in backup exec?
Any solutions?

Have you check the BE 11d HCL to make sure that your RDX is supported?
Yes I did, it says it is compatible. I have considered a new version but I am trying to get away from paying 400 dollars for a newer version.
Are you running the latest drivers from Symantec?

Under the Windows Device Manager, is the RDX device listed and functioning correctly?
Have you tried a restart of the BE services?
