Can't get Backup-To-Disk Offline Media back to Online Media

I have a NAS drive on my backup-to-disk folder and 2/3 of media labels are in Offline Media and 1/3 is in Online Media.

I don't know how they got into Offline Media but I need to get them back into Online Media

the media in the Online Media show a Media Location of 'Backup-to-disk Folder 1'

the media in the Offline Media show nothing in media location.

I'm on Backup Exec 12

Any ideas how to make this space useable again?

    Sure.

    1) Associate all the media, both online and offline, on the disk to the Retired media set and then right-click on each of them and delete them.

    2) Delete all the B2D folder

    3) Format your disk and start again.

    I tried Inventory on the B2D folder.

    it didn't change anything.

    it says says successful

    should I delete all reference to the NAS and B2D, then start over again?

    Run an inventory operation on the B2D folder. That will bring all the offline media back to online.
