Capacity Based License
When I procure 2TB capacity based license, can I install the BackupExec main server software on multiple servers as long as the total source backup is within the limit of 2TB?

No. You cannot reuse the capacity licence.
I know that for higher capacity you can ask for the capacity to be split into several licences, but since 2TB is rather low, I am not sure whether splitting is possible. Call the Veritas Licencing dept. and check.
You can choose to split down as far as 1TB chunks but not less than that
If you purchssed 2TB in one go then to split you use the licensing portal to split the count and download separate SLF files for each server (do not use the In Product Licensing / web based activation as this will grab 100% of the 2TB on the first server and then stop you splitting into 2x 1TB)
