Catalog error: ODBC access error.

I recently accidentally deleted a backup job. My initial fix was to re-create the job, but when I realised that the job wouldn't run until the next full backup at the weekend and I need it to run before then (too much data to run a full backup midweek), I decided to restore the DB from backup instead. Since then I have been getting endless repeats of this error.

"ODBC access error. Possible lost connection to database or unsuccessful access to catalog index in the database"

Is there anyway to re-index? All the solutions I can find online seem to no longer be valid

    Use BEUtility to restore from the last BEDB backup.  Be aware that whatever is done after this last BEDB backup would be lost.

      ODBC error messages are normally coming in pairs:
      The message you posted is the general error 
      "ODBC access error. Possible lost connection to database or unsuccessful access to catalog index in the database"

      Can you share the text of the other event log message as this is actually telling us where / what the problem is.
