You've got 1 of 2 safe options:

1. move the catalogs as per the TN below to a drive with enough disk space:

2. Truncate the logs, but this only works going forwards meaning you've got to delete old logs. This means that any data needed for restore purposes where the catalog has been deleted would require the tape to be recatalogged.
