Communication error between Linux server and windows backup Exec

"A communication error occur when attempting to connect to this server." This was the error message received when I tried to backup Linux Server (remote agent) on Windows server Backup Exec. Kindly assist with this issue.

    Have you backed up that server before successfully or is that the first attempt of this server?
    Do you still have this issue or did you manage to solve it already?
