Delete a particular day backup data

how to delete a particular day backup data from symantec backup location.

For example i need to delete only last saturday backup datas from the symantec backup exec

  • I think you are using BE2010. 1. Check the job log to see which .bkf files are used by the job. 2. On the Media tab, locate the .bkf files, right-click on them and associate them with the Retired Media set 3. Right-click on the .bkf files and select Delete 4. Use Windows Explorer and delete the .bkf files from the disk

  • Note: If using tape and you have multiple backups sets (same day or different days) on one tape then you cannot delete individual backups sets as you can only erase the whole tape.
