Hi.
I have a DELL PowerVault 124T machine and message displays "Drive request cleaning". I go to BE->Devices->Robotic Libraries-> IBM4( this is my drive that requires cleaning). I right click on IBM4 and select clean. I the get a pop-up message stating that the job has failed with the following error: Physical Volume Library Media vot found.
Please help.

It could be that there is a hardware problem with the library. Use the manufacturer's diagnostic utility and run it against the library. Make sure you select the write test and that you have stopped all the BE services beforehand.
Make sure you have a cleaning media available in the Cleaning slot.
If you have not defined any cleaning slot yet, than you can do that by right-clicking on the required slot.
