Encryption Problem

I just did my first test with encryption. Here are my parameters:

1. Backing up Netware files

2. 128 bit encryption

3. Backing up to disk file.

When I try to restore a file from this backup set, I get an error telling me that there was an error initializing encryption and the job fails. Anyone else have this problem?

    Hi Curt,

    Please let us know the exact procedure of how you have enabled encryption. Have you created the key or?

    I created the key during the backup job creation. I have been informed that encryption does not work with the Netware Agents. I tried using User Defined Selections instead but apparently they use the agents as well and will not encrypt the data.

    I can only hope that they will fix the agent in the very near future to allow encryption.
