    I am not sure whether this applies to DAG but if you do a one-time backup of Exchange you can select the option not to truncate the transaction logs

    ok, thanks for this informations.
    But what i need is configuring a regular backup job with one full backup per week, without truncate the T-Logs.
    The storage backup strategy is Backup 2 Disk to Tape.

    ok thanks for your information.
    but if we backup the exchange-server with the RAWS ( not about the DAG-configuration-Item), 
    the T-logs are then cut off or not?
    In this case we take a VSS-FileBackup of the exchange server T-Log Partition.
