Please help , i want to exclude pst files from my daily backups but NOT from my one full weekly backup. I can set it up to exclude but the exclusion goes to both jobs and if i remove the exclusion from the full backup job it does it with the daily one as well.......

You would need 2 selection lists, one without the .pst files for your daily job and another one with .pst files for your weekly job.

I'm assuming you're using Policy based backup jobs OR using the same same selection list for both Daily and Weekly backups.
This happens becuase your Daily and Weekly are both Full backups and are both using the SAME selection list. Anything you include or exclude from this selection list will affect both jobs.
You will need to create two different selection lists (one with PST's for Weekly job and another without PST's for Daily job) and use them with your jobs.

It happens, so normally if there are similiar answers a few minutes apart, it is o.k. If it is long then that, you should refresh so see whether somebody has already post an answer.
