Backup- SQL\SHAREPOINT An unknown or unexpected database error occurred while attempting a DBCC.

It turns out the mentioned V-79-57344-33859 doesn't excist as an entry in the support database.
this problem occurs during a full backup of a sql-server (ms), while the differential backup "works like a charm".

Any feedback would be appreciated.

best regards

  • Hi,

Are you trying to backup a Sharepoint Portal database from the SQL agent?

If yes, try backing up the data from the Sharepoint icon itself..

  • Hi Padmaja, thanks for your response.
Do you mean that I should split the job into two jobs; sharepoint db and the other dbs individually?

    best regards
