Tried all of the solutions on the TN
Doesnt seem to solve the problem. Also the backup speed is very slow

Are you receiving this error on a backup of a particular remote server only ? If yes, does manually copying over 100GB (try with a single file & then try with multiple smaller files) work fine ?
Any AV scans/maintenance tasks running at this time ?

Yes i am receiving this error on a particular server.
there are no AV scan/maintenance
when i started the backup last night. out of a total of 900GB, it backup'ed 471GB and the failed with the error message
Final error: 0xe000fe30 - A communications failure has occurred
At the moment i have selected 4GB of data out of the 900GB to backup, just to see if it will be successful
Please how can u assist

Possibly the connection is timing out, debug logs will give a better picture as to what happens when the backup fails.
Consider running network diagnostics as well to rule out any network issues.

Where are the deug logs on the backup exec server
I also thought about that, i am also trying to see if there are any network issues

Debug logs are to be manually enabled and to be enabled on both BE and the remote server at the same time.
It'll probably be easier to log a support case for doing so.

I think u might be right vjware about the connection timing out
because i did a backup of $GB of data and it was successful
Also a total of 471GB was data was backuped yesterday before it timed out

Apparently this was a netwok issue.
the cables connected to the switched were looped.
