Get 2 pre-existing backup execs (v20.1.1188) to see each other

Question

We have 2, same version, backup execs and would like them to see each other so we can can have different jobs running on different backup exec servers. I've found instructions on pushing a second backupexec install to another server but I just want to have 2 pre-installed, fully functional, backup execs talk to each other. How do I do this?
