Getting an 4008 and a 3e48 Hex errors

Hi all,
 
For the past couple days I've been getting these errors but nothing else, no description. Does anyone know what those errors mean?

     Hi Dave,

    If it's backup exec , what version of BE are you using? And did you install any service packs or hot fixes recently?

    Final error description: 0x    3e48 (15944)

    Final error category: Other Errors

    This is all it posts in the Job Log. It backs everythings else up.  But when it gets to System State it fails, and hands me this to go by
